Last year, many rumors have been circulating about facebook phone, some of rumors are- Facebook Buffy, Myst etc. But now it seems that facebook will make rumors to reality, Facebook has just announced Facebook Home that put a whole new experience for android smartphones users.

The new Facebook Home will replaces your android lock screen with facebook cover feed including full-screen photos & facebook notifications. Facebook also announced a new HTC first phone on AT&T with Pre-installed Facebook Home app.

With Home, everything on your phone gets friendlier. From the moment you turn it on, you see a steady stream of friends’ posts and photos. Upfront notifications and quick access to your essentials mean you’ll never miss a moment. And you can keep chatting with friends, even when you’re using other apps.

“You’re going to be able to turn your Android phone into a great social device,” Said facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, ”Our phones today are designed around apps, not people. We want to flip that around.”

At starting a few smartphones are compatible with new Home are the HTC first, Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4 and Note II.

Cover Feed:-

With the facebook home, your home screen experience is focused on cover feed. Cover feed puts the spotlight on whatever friends are sharing now—photos, status updates, links and more. Home also allows notifications on lock-screen.



Using Facebook home now notifications about calls, events, Facebook and other apps appear on your home screen and stick around until you need them.


On HTS First device, all notifications will push on the home screen and users that download Facebook home will only get facebook notification on their home screen.

Chat Headers & Messenger:-

Chat Heads is facebook new features that allows you to chat from anywhere on your phone, So facebook users can easily chat with friends over the other apps.

All your conversations in one spot, Send and receive texts and Facebook messages in one place. Profile pictures make your group chats and one-on-one time more personal.


App Launcher:-

App launcher is place where all your favourite apps stored, you can drag favourite apps to app laucher so you can view on full screen.
