Hello Friends,
Windows 8 consumer preview was released just 3 days ago and it is became popular with 1 million downloads just in 24 hours but many of users was amazed to see the Start Screen(Metro UI) instead of Start Menu or Desktop.
I received many emails from my readers many of them faces problems with the new look of windows 8 consumer preview, many of them can not find the Shut Down / Restart Button.
Microsoft remove the Start Menu from Windows 8 Consumer Preview and instead of it add the Charm Bar on right side of screen, where you can find the Start Menu, and this charm bar is not directly visible.
So to make visible the charm bar, move your mouse pointer in right bottom corner in Metro UI screen, and charm bar will be displayed. Now click on the settings and then click on the Power Button and then click on any options from Sleep, Restart and Shut Down.

You can also Use Alt-F4 to bring Shut Down Windows and then choose any options from the list such as Switch User, Sign Out, Sleep, Shut down and Restart.
