Over 600K Mac OS X Computers has infected by Flashback Trojan

The time was gone when Apple computer are safe from malware’s, On Wednesday russian antivirus company repoted that 550,000 (but later that number was updated to 600,000) Mac OS X computers has been infected by “Flashback” Trojan.

Flashback Trojan started exploiting in Mac OS X through security hole in java and then steal personal information through web-browser and Java.

Systems get infected with BackDoor.Flashback.39 after a user is redirected to a bogus site from a compromised resource or via a traffic distribution system. JavaScript code is used to load a Java-applet containing an exploit. Doctor Web’s virus analysts discovered a large number of web-sites containing the code.

According to above map, United States have largest infected users with 56.6% infected computers and Canada was second with 19.8 percent.
