WiFi Ad Hoc enabler For Android Devices

Suppose you want to connect your android devices with WiFi shared from your laptop or can say that with Ad-hoc network, But you may surprising that your newly purchased android devices doesn’t able to find the WiFi signal or ad hoc signal but working fine with the other WiFi signal.

This is all because of the security reason ad-hoc signal are filtered out from the wpa_supplicant, But you can enable it by making some modifications in your android devices or in simple we can say that you have to root your android device, but this is difficult and tricky part.

So Here I am sharing an android apps WiFi Ad Hoc enabler, which allows you to enables WiFi Ad Hoc mode on your Android devices, so you don’t have to go through all the trouble of mounting, chmod, etc. Apparently it uses your modded wpa_supplicant. To use this app you have root access in your device.

    Sir ,
    I tried this way but i didn’t get succeeded. my divice is motorola droid razr xt910. i installed the root explorer , but when i tried changing the mode Mount R/O to Read Write Mode its not beeing changed, so I can’t move to the next step , can you direct me what i should do to connect my droid to an ADHOC connection, i will be very thankful for yor answer, please guide me with a fine solution , thank you
